During his time with the company, Jade developed experience across a wide range of investigations, including cryptocurrency tracing, cyber investigations, fraud and scam investigations, website forensics, OSINT, background checks and skip tracing. He also worked on investigations involving anonymous social media accounts, email addresses, phone numbers and online identities, as well as online harassment, impersonation and child grooming. Much of this work involved finding and connecting information that was difficult to locate or deliberately hidden.

Around 2020, Jade identified the growing need for cryptocurrency tracing as crypto scams became increasingly common. He taught himself the fundamentals of blockchain and cryptocurrency tracing before helping develop it into a formal service. Cybertrace became the first Australian company to provide cryptocurrency tracing to the public, and went on to be recognised internationally for its work in complex cyber, fraud, scam and cryptocurrency investigations.

Under Jade's operational leadership, the team helped clients trace and pursue the recovery of funds lost to scams, identify people responsible for online offending, and contribute to matters where offenders were later arrested overseas. Results were used in courts internationally, and the company worked with leading law enforcement organisations including Interpol.

Jade brings a practical and analytical approach to complex matters, with a broad understanding of how small pieces of information can be connected to uncover what may otherwise remain hidden.

In 2020, Sheri joined Cybertrace, where she quickly established herself as a highly capable investigator across complex matters including anonymous account identification, background investigations, skip tracing, missing persons, and investigations involving social media and other digital intelligence.

She progressed to lead the Cyber Investigations Department, managing a team of investigators while continuing to undertake complex investigations herself. She mentored and trained investigators, reviewed investigative files, assessed new matters and acted as a key liaison between clients and investigators. Her work contributed to some of the most comprehensive cyber investigation files undertaken for individuals, law firms and large corporations in Australia and internationally.

Her findings and evidence have contributed to real-world legal and law enforcement outcomes, including matters involving search warrants and criminal charges in Australia, and successful court proceedings overseas. Her work has been particularly valuable in social media matters, where identifying, authenticating and connecting digital information can be critical.

Combining clinical psychology with specialist investigative experience, Sheri brings a distinctive analytical and human-centred perspective, examining behaviour, relationships and digital activity to find connections others may overlook.
